Berlin - Vision 2050 - Urban Greening

On this vision I am developing previous ideas. Vertical farms, so used to my vision, will be the main sources of food for the city. In these farms will be grown all possible types of products ranging from vegetables, ending with the animals. People can agree to participate in growing food and in the obtaining of it. Also I thought about the system of delivery of food from vertical farms to the different parts of Berlin. I guess that transportation will be implemented by hydraulic pipes, wich will move the objects in the right directions trough equivalent air pressure. Vertical farms are the main theme of the urban environment. They will simultaneously deliver food for people and also they will include recreational areas. They will include both shops where you can buy food and restaurants where you can try it.

Also a part of the river will be used for the fish farming, which will allow maximum usage of existing natural resources for the production of food. These farms are part of the public space,greenery wich is cleaning the process,(algae absorb and capture dissolved inorganic waste and produce oxigen through photosynthesis) performs the same functions as gardening and also organize the urban environment.People can oversee the raising of fish and participate in the process of acquiring.

On the facades of residential buildings will be placed tight translucent thin film of generating energy from the sun. It will be a source of alternative energy that helps reduce CO2 emissions.

As another possible variant of the green city, I see - a device underground greenhouses. At this vision, we see the administrative part of Berlin. I guess that in future people will not use cars. So huge underground parking spaces will remain free. As a proposalI, I suggest to use space from the parking like a greenhouses for growing mushrooms, that do not require sunlight. It will be another opportunity to provide the city with food.

As well for maximum usage of all free surfaces, we use roofs of the existing buildings for urban farming. A solid surface can be used for beekeeping.
